It's the weekend before Valentine's Day, and it's also Super Bowl Weekend. If you don't already have plans for romance or football - here are some things to do around Lansing for the weekend of February 9-12, 2023.

The Mid-Michigan Women's Expo is at The Lansing Center this Friday (2/10) through Sunday (2/12). Health and wellness, beauty and fashion are just some of the things to be featured during this annual favorite - with hundreds of exhibits and interactive areas to peruse.

Lovely Boozy Book Fair

A Boozy Book Fair? Yup. The Hooked bookstore/coffee shop/wine bar on East Michigan Avenue in Lansing mixes the best of both worlds Friday night (2/10) from 5pm to 9pm. Take advantage of discounts on romance books, cocktails and lattes.

Darwin Discovery Day

This Saturday (2/11) from 10am to 2pm, Michigan State University Museum is hosting its Darwin Discovery Day. The museum is offering a "behind-the scenes tour of the natural science collections" , exploring "the effects of climate change on plants, animals, and ecosystems".

Puppy Love Benefit

Capitol Harley-Davidson in Dimondale is hosting a Puppy Love Benefit on Saturday (2/11) from 10am to 3pm. Valentine's Day Weekend has gone to the dogs for this affair, a fundraiser for the Capital Area Humane Society.

Chocolate Walk

Several businesses in and near Marshall's social district will be participating in a Chocolate Walk this Saturday (2/11) from 10am to 4pm. Enjoy decadent chocolates and Valentine's Weekend sales as you browse store after store downtown.

Blood Bash 2023

Jackson's Commonwealth Commerce Center hosts the 6th annual International Horror Film Festival & Convention this Saturday from 11am to 7pm. Blood Bash 2023 will feature screenings of dozens of horror films from all around the world, more than 40 vendors, cosplay and even a Scream Queen contest.
