Today is one of the best days of the year. The boys of summer are back in action today with all 30 teams playing games on opening day. The Detroit Tigers open up at home on April 6th. Are you ready for some baseball and the amazing food that accompanies going to the ballpark?

The Detroit Tigers have made some changes to the dimensions on the playing field which will hopefully provide fans a good game experience with more offense. Read more about the dimension changes here.

With the addition of the pitch clock to MLB this year, games should move faster. That's something fans wanted and the league listened. Offense is a must too. Don't get me wrong, I love a good pitchers dual. Regardless, as much as I love watching baseball in person, the concesssions also attract me to going to the ballpark.

I've never had an issue finding something tasty to eat when I go to a Tiger's game. This year the menu is looking good for you to try when you head out to the game. The old classics like hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts and Cracker Jack are avaialbe while other options exist to satisfy that adventurous pallet. A few years ago I had some Middle Eastern Nachos that had pita chips, garlic sauce, hummus and chicken shawarma on it. It was aweseom and I will have that again. Detroit Eater provides some info tasty menu options at Comerica Park.
