He dresses in seemingly moth-eaten jackets, baggy pants, and a baseball cap...kind of like what Beaver Cleaver would look like if he was on skid row.

But it's Michael Moore, Flint Michigan's favorite documentarian. A man who has made a good number of enemies and an equal good number of friends. He's a person you sometimes agree and disagree with. Either you like him or you don't...there's very little room to be on the fence about it.

For a man who dresses the way he does, it's hard to imagine Michael Moore living in a place like you are about to see...well, he used to anyway. His 5.5 million dollar mansion at Torch Lake was put on the market back in 2015...and 2016...and 2018...and 2019.

After a 22-year marriage to film producer Kathleen Glynn, the two were divorced in 2014...which meant that was that. Therefore, the behemoth was put up for sale.

This monstrosity has:
ART STUDIO
BEACH ACCESS
8 ½ BATHS
ELEVATOR
FIVE FIREPLACES
GUEST COTTAGE
GYMNASIUM
LIBRARY
MOVIE THEATER
SEVEN BEDROOMS
TWO POWDER ROOMS

Interested? Too bad, because it's occupied. The mansion was constructed in 2010 and is surrounded by woods...although not too thick – neighbors are still just a stone's throw away. Wait 'til you see the photos below: a great view of the lake, ornate log woodwork...I can't even begin to correctly describe what you are about to see. There's just TOO much and not enough right words.

That said, take a look at Michael Moore's former home, located at 222 S East Torch Lake Drive, Central Lake.
