Buses will carry passengers on two routes from downtown Jackson and select Jackson County hotels. Pickups will be on a continuous system during the night, including stops in downtown every 30 minutes in front of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and Experience Jackson building,134 W. Michigan Ave.

I don't know about you, but I like anything that's being offered for free. And this is the time to take advantage of JATA buses.

I would love to be a part of this but there's only one problem, I don't know anyone in the Jackson area. Perhaps my wife and I could come up with a new year's eve plan by then so we can be a part of the free shuttle service.

At this point, JATA buses will have two routes set to go. One of then is a red route one, which includes stops at the Holiday Inn Express on O'Neil Drive and Holiday Inn Jackson on Bob McClain Drive, just to name a few.

There is also a blue route two which includes Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn and several others.
