We still have five unbeaten teams in 11-Player football, and Vermontville Maple Valley is still undefeated in the 8-Player ranks.

Mason, Sexton, Portland, Grand Ledge, and Fowler all won last week to keep the 0 in the loss column.

The poll welcomes 3-2 East Lansing into the top 10 for the first time.  The Trojans won easily over Grand Blanc to make it into the poll.  Haslett, who lost to Mason, is the team that is first out.  They are 11th, if you want to say that.

Everett stays in the poll after a competitive 21-12 loss at Grand Ledge.  And the best under the radar story in the area continues to be Saranac, who won at Laingsburg 28-20 to move to 4-1 on the year.  The Red Hawks have a chance to make the playoffs for the first time (in a non-COVID year) since 2018.

Some of the top games this week include:  Grand Ledge at DeWitt, Everett at East Lansing, Laingsburg at Bath (that's for the County Line Trophy), and Fowler at Pewamo-Westphalia (That's for the Milk Jug).

Hey, you gotta love trophy games!!  I know I do, especially at the high school level.

We will broadcast the Fowler at P-W game this Friday night.  Not only is it for the Milk Jug, it's for the CMAC lead.  We will hit the air at 6:00pm with the pregame show.  It features interviews with both head coaches.  John Spicer from DeWitt and Jeremy Miller from P-W.  And then Erik "Doc" Love joins me from Pewamo-Westphalia just before 7:00pm with game coverage.

We are your trusted source for high school sports coverage, The Game 730 AM WVFN.  And the Lansing Sports Network!

Ok, on with this week's rankings:
