Growing up I never realized it, but Michigan's Upper Peninsula (the U.P.) is a bit of a mysterious place to a lot of people. Having grown up there, nothing about it ever seemed that mystifying about it.

But, it turns out that's not the case for most.

So, as the resident Yooper around here, I decided that I should put together a bit of a guide, the A to Z of things that you'll find in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula.

There are the things that you'd expect - food you'll find, places to check out, but more than that, there are some things that you may not know about if you've never lived in or visited the Upper Peninsula.
