According to a report from WZZM-13, the newest location, inside McKay Tower in downtown Grand Rapids, will open in January 2025.
What Kind of Food Will You Find at Poke Toki in Grand Rapids?
Poke Toki is known for serving up delicious (and nutritious) bowls. Poke is a dish that consists of cut-up pieces of raw fish, vegetables, and sauce. According to Around the World in Eighty Flavors, poke grew in popularity partially thanks to Instagram. (Those bowls certainly are worth of the 'gram.)
Poke Toki's menu lists eight signature bowls including an Ahi Tuna Bowl and Spicy Pork. They also offer up a build-your-own-bowl option where you can choose your own base (rice or mixed greens), mix-ins, sides, protein, sauce, toppings, and "crispies".
If it follows the same model as the other two West Michigan locations, the downtown location will be open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. and be closed on Sundays.

The restaurant will help fill a food void in downtown Grand Rapids that was left when international chain restaurant Freshii closed its location in McKay Tower in November of 2023.
