Michigan’s Favorite Costco Product Probably Won’t Surprise You
I have to admit it, I'm an avid Costco shopper. Every couple of months (okay, whenever I need to stock back up on toilet paper) I head to the land of giant cheap hot dogs and crazy deals to stock up on essentials.
Over the years, I've come to find some favorites in different departments. (If you've never had the Maine lobster ravioli, I highly recommend it.) And it seems that I'm not the only person who has a borderline problematic love of all things Kirkland. People across the country love Costco so much that recently, the website Coupon Birds released a map showing each state's favorite Costco purchases.
Before we get to Michigan's favorite Costco finds, I want to hit on one thing.
What's Up With Wisconsin and Minnesota?
Our friends to the west in Wisconsin and Minnesota are big fans of the Sutton Place Cooling Throw. I have questions - aren't Minnesota and Wisconsin notoriously frigid? Do the folks there really need a cooling throw? They must because those are the only two states that boast the throw as their favorite Costco purchase. (Though now that I've looked it up, I think I want one...)
What is Michigan's Favorite Costco Purchase?
This comes as no shock to me because this happens to be one of my favorite Costco purchases, too.
Michiganders' favorite Costco product to purchase is - Kirkland French Vodka.
Now, I don't drink liquor, but we use vodka in cooking a lot in our home. And for the price? You can't beat the giant jug of vodka you can find in the liquor aisle of Costco. Surprisingly, it only tops the list in one other state - Delaware.

Additional Michigan Favorite Costco Products
Moving away from the booze to our other favorites - it seems that Michiganders have a sweet tooth. Our second favorite product is the Sanders Small Batch Wonders Sea Salt Caramel.
Coming in at number three on Michigan's list is Kirkland Maple Syrup.
Number four in the Mitten is the Woozoo Globe Fan.
Number five is a favorite of, I'm assuming, the kids of Michigan - Reese's Dipped Animal Crackers.
Rounding out Michigan's top Costco products is, surprisingly, Costco gas.
Now, I know that it's hard to beat the price at the pump at a Costco gas station, but... the line is always so long that I've never actually taken advantage of the low price.
Now that we know our current favorite brands, let's take a look back at these favorite brands that no longer exist.
