Michigan Deputy’s Body Cam Shows Intense 9 Minute Foot Chase
Last week, a dramatic chase unfolded in Van Buren County when Toby Farley, a 39-year-old man from Bangor Township, led deputies on a nine-minute pursuit through challenging terrain, including woods and water.
The incident began when deputies attempted to arrest Farley, who was wanted on multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine and assaulting a peace officer.
As deputies approached, Farley fled into a wooded area, prompting a foot chase.
Despite being ordered to stop, he continued to evade capture.
Deputies initially deployed a Taser, but it failed to subdue him.
The chase became increasingly intense as Farley navigated through thick brush and swampy areas, making it difficult for law enforcement to keep up with him.
Eventually, deputies caught up to Farley and used pepper spray to incapacitate him.
During the arrest, they discovered he was in possession of 7.65 grams of methamphetamine.
Both Farley and a deputy required medical treatment due to the struggle that ensued during the arrest.
Farley was subsequently taken to the Van Buren County Jail, where he faces several felony charges, including resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.
This police chase was intense and got me tired after watching the body cam footage below.
