A Grand Rapids pizza restaurant known for its large pies and late night bites will soon have a new home.

Apparently some folks have tried to visit Mr. Pizza on Michigan St. recently only to find it's not been open during regular hours. I've see few different posts online asking "Is Mr. Pizza closed?", so I decided to do some digging.

According to the restaurant's website, it's been under new ownership since 2006:

Over the years, ownership has changed hands frequently and as a result, the shop had seen better days. When the current owners purchased the pizza shop in 2006, they spent months doing major renovations. Mr. Pizza is once again the go-to place for lunch or after a night on the town.

Open until 3a.m., Mr. Pizza has been popular with the late night crowd. On the menu you'll find a variety of pizzas, 10 inches all the way up to 24 inches.

Those craving pizza after midnight will have to find another option as Mr. Pizza is not currently open.

On Google, Mr. Pizza is listed as temporarily closed. A notice on the restaurant's website reads,
