People name their kids some pretty odd things (Elon Musk, looking at you), or some normal names with some rather despicable spellings where parents are setting their kids up to be bullied (I have seen the name Ghiuliyette, which is just far more complicated than it needs to be).

 

Thankfully, states have legislation in place to stop people from really ruining their kids' lives. However, states can have different rules. For example, Michigan is fairly strict and only allows names with English characters, while North Carolina allows accent marks, hyphens, and tildes (ñ).

However, some names aren't allowed in any state, and for good reason. According to usbirthcertificate, 10 names are completely illegal in all 50 states. These names are as follows:
