This Car Brand Is Most Popular Amongst Baby Boomers In Michigan
Everybody has their dream car and some of us are lucky enough to achieve the success needed to purchase our dream vehicle, while others understand that at the end of the day it's not about the type of car but just that you have functional vehicle to transport you from point A to point B. With that being said, I'm still working toward owning my dream car but am okay with my current and working vehicle.
As time goes on, your idea of the perfect car for you changes mostly because your mindset as a person but also because your lifestyle changes. Many people want a moderately expensive or fast car but how safe are those? Once you have a family or home to maintain, your priorities tend to change. As you get older, the type of car you drive matters less and less which leads to common trends, such as this car brand being the most common among the baby boomers, maybe because of like minds.
When looking at a car, most of the time you can take a guess at what age the driver of the vehicle might be. Most luxury or sports cars are associated with either married women in their mid 20s- mid 40s or a man between the ages of 20-55, while mini-vans are normally reserved for mothers, and pickup trucks are mostly driven by blue collar men.
Obviously, these observations are common but are not the end all be all as anyone can drive any kind of car, but they are common for a reason. With that being said, for the most part the older generation is driving all different kinds of cars but there is one that is more common than the others. Baby boomers in Michigan are driving Chevrolet vehicles more than any other brand of car. Chevrolet is the second most popular car brand for baby boomers across America with 18 states, as it comes in second behind Michigan vehicle manufacturer Ford who was most common in 20 states. I'm surprised that Michigan isn't more loyal to Ford as a vehicle manufacturer but they like their Chevrolet's more.
