Is LeBron One of the Top Five Best Players in NBA History?

It’s time once again to ask the million dollar question: is LeBron James a top five player in his career in the NBA? LeBron has just won his fourth NBA championship. His first with the Los Angeles Lakers. He won two with the Miami Heat and one with The Cleveland Cavaliers already.

Now, the question arrives again: is he one of the top five best players ever in NBA history and folklore? Everyone’s top five is different. My top five includes Michael, “Magic”, Larry, “The Doctor” and LeBron. Of course there are other great choices.

For instance, I could name ten more players who could be in someone else’s top five. Kobe, Tim Duncan, Kareem, Bill Russell, Wilt, Jerry West, Allen Iverson, Hakeem, Stockton, Malone “The Big O”. I just scratched the surface with other great players.

Who are your picks for the top five greatest players in the NBA? There are a lot of people who don’t agree that LeBron James aka “The Chosen One” or aka “the Truth” is a top five player for whatever reason. But he is in my book. This will be asked and talked about ad nauseam. But I will stand pat on this.

In his second season in LA, he helped the Lakers win another NBA Crown. It has been ten years since the last one. Last season, in James' first year, the Lakers didn’t even make the playoffs. I also feel LeBron has at least five more years in the tank to continue his pro career. Please let us know if you agree or disagree with my opinion on this!
