Ionia Business Refers to Obama As [Radio Edit] On Digital Marquee and I Think It’s Disgusting
I support our President. That is to say that I support the process that we, as Americans, go through that determines who the President will be, and once that determination is made, I choose to show respect to the process and to the person elected into that position.
I do this whether or not they were my candidate of choice.
Though I don't agree with everything he says or does, I support President Obama and I will show him the appropriate respect the office of President of the United States of America deserves.
Similarly, though I don't agree with everything he says or does, I support President-elect Trump and will show him the appropriate respect the office of President of the United States of America deserves.
So hopefully now we can put to rest any question of bias as it relates to my opinion of what this Ionia business owner has chosen to do.
Whether I am happy to see Obama move out or not, and whether I am happy to see Trump move in to the White House or not, I do not support this business owner's decision to disrespect the office of President of the United States of America.
It's tacky. It's unprofessional. It's embarrassing. It's a disgrace. I don't like it as an American, I don't like it as a community member and I don't like it as a parent. It's shameful.
The scrolling digital marquee for I-96 Towing and Repair in Ionia reads "Only a few more days and that [expletive] will be out of the White House."
