One week away from election day, President Trump will be visiting Lansing for a rally. Where the President goes a crowd is sure to follow. A massive crowd. And with the leader of the free world showing up in Big Gretch's backyard, there will be a lot of protests and security to follow. And flight delays and road closures. Here's what we know so you can be prepared if you are going to the rally or you want to avoid all the traffic and insanity that will surround it.

Where will it go down?

President Donald Trump is holding a "Make American Great Again Victory Rally" at the Capital Region International Airport Tuesday.

Trump is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. at the airport. Doors will open at 11 a.m. (LSJ)

So safe to say that about 10 am to 4 pm, you best avoid the airport and N. Grand River and N. Waverly.

We know it's last minute but if you want tickets don't ask the airport.

Traffic and parking is going to be a mess. The Capital Region International Airport is asking people attending the event not to use either long-term or short-term lots at the terminal. (LSJ)

And heaven help you if you have a flight leaving out or coming in at the time of the rally. Minor delays are to be expected whether you're on a plane or have the misfortune of picking someone up from the airport.

If you want to avoid any frustration, I'd advise you avoid the area until well after 4 pm.
