Hepatitis A Found at Lansing Steak ‘n Shake
Ok not to freak you out but if you have recently ate at the Steak 'n Shake on Edgewood Boulevard in Lansing, you may have been exposed to Hepatitis A. The Ingham County Health Department has confirmed a case of Hepatitis A at the local restaurant. So if you ate at this restaurant from September 2nd to September 25th, health officials are saying you may have been exposed.
So again if you have dined or ate food from Steak 'n Shake on Edgewood Boulevard between September 14th and September 25th, officials say that you are advised to receive the hepatitis A vaccine.
The Hepatitis A Vaccination can prevent hepatitis A if given within 14 days of exposure. So if you have any symptoms like stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, loss of appetite and yellow skin and eyes, you may want to get checked as these are symptoms of Hepatitis A.
