We all love something at the end of a very long day to fall back on, and sometimes the best thing to fall back on is an ice cream treat. A popular ice cream item is being recalled from Michigan stores, that you may want to be aware of.

Why the Häagen-Dazs Bars Are Being Recalled

Häagen-Dazs is recalling their ice cream bars after an undeclared allergen, and the product was shipped to Michigan Kroger stores.

The company, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, which makes Häagen-Dazs, said that a limited number of Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars in the 6-count box could contain wheat, but the label doesn't say that. That could be a problem for those who may be sensitive tow heat, or have an allergy to it.

Exactly Which Ice Cream Bars to Check

If you think you may have the affected product, you can check these things.

  • Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars, 6-Count
  • Batch Code: LLA519501
  • Best By: January 31, 2027

What to Do If You Bought the Recalled Box

If you see that information line up, you should avoid eating the product, and return it to the store for a full refund. At this time, no other Häagen-Dazs flavors, sizes, or batches are apart of this recall... your pints of ice cream will still be tasty.

29 other states got this shipment of Häagen-Dazs bars, including Kroger stores right here in Michigan. If someone with a wheat allergy does eat this product, you may see hives, trouble breathing, or could experience worse.

With most recalled products, you should be able to return the product without needing a receipt with it.
