Guy Fieri Quietly Opens A Ghost Kitchen In Michigan For Delivery Only
Now what in the haberdasheries & hemoglobin and unfair map positioning is goin' on here? I just discovered that Guy Fieri, the dude with the wild spiked hair from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, has opened up a a bunch of ghost restaurants in 23 states for delivery only inside of Brio Italian Grille at the Mall at Partridge Creek at 17430 Hall Road, Sterling Heights. Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen is available for delivery only, which means everyone over here on the West side of the state with hopes of taking a trip to "Flavortown" is screwed .
Eater Detroit says the kitchen is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and is offered for delivery from most local delivery third-party services like Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates, UberEats, and Seamless. The menu features fried goods, salads, burgers, sandwiches, desserts and pasta dishes with a dash of wildness to them. Of course, everyone in my hometown of Rochester Hills will have no problem ordering from Fieri's kitchen.
It could be worse, here in Kalamazoo we have plenty of options to get delivery from great local restaurants and even more place we can still dine outside and indoors. Ohio however still may be a little bitter that they weren't able to change the name of Columbus to "Flavortown" with their petition last year. Also, Chelsea is probably still bummed because she still can't trade jobs with Guy. I guess we can't have it all. They can keep Guy Fieri, we've got the craft beer.
