Grocery shopping during the coronavirus pandemic has become quite the experience. There still seems to be a lot of questions--and some confusion--about the proper 'stuff' we should be doing when we're getting our groceries at the store. One of the big questions seems to be whether or not we need to wipe down all the packages before we bring them into the house. To help clear things up, here are the latest tips from the FDA on how to protect yourself (and others) when you're getting groceries.

Here's some more information about tip #6 from the FDA. They say that "there is currently no evidence of human or animal food or food packaging being associated with transmission of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. This particular coronavirus causes respiratory illness and is spread from person-to-person, unlike foodborne gastrointestinal or GI viruses, such as norovirus and hepatitis A that often make people ill through contaminated food."
