MakeGood just made a voluntary recall on their granola bars, as there is a possible metal contamination in their products. You could purchase these products at stores like Amazon, Whole Foods, Target as well as CVS.

The FDA classified this recall as a Class II. By the FDA's standards, this means that you could have irreversible health effects if the product is consumed, but serious harm could be low.

  • Cookies & Crème

  • Mixed Berry

The product was distributed in December of 2024, so you should check on this considering the life shelf of granola bars.

The company did come out publicly to address the recall, saying that there was only a small risk of contamination. At this time, no injuries have been reported either, and the company has done efforts to correct the issue.
