Shelter In Place Warning Advised for the City of Grand Ledge

The Grand Ledge Police Department put out a shelter-in-place warning to the residents of Grand Ledge, Michigan, as they're actively searching for a suspect who is believed to be armed and dangerous at this time.

The Shelter in Place warning for the City of Grand Ledge has been lifted, as the suspect has been captured and is now in custody.

The resident is described as the following:

• Black Male
• Black Pants, Black Backpack, Blue Hat
• Suspect is armed with a gun

At this time, the Grand Ledge Police Department is asking that you lock all exterior doors, and move inside until the shelter-in-place warning is removed.

Police are advising that you should bring all pets inside as well.
