Google To Expand in Michigan

Google has offices in Detroit and Ann Arbor and they plan on expanding them and also including more jobs. According to Detroit Free Press, Google is going to be expanding their two site in Michigan over the next two years. They currently have 170,000 square feet of office space in Detroit and Ann Arbor combined but it will increase to 260,000 square feet fter the expansion.

Along with the expansion of space comes more potential job opportunities as they plan on "adding new sales and technical support jobs". Google currently employs about 600 people in Michigan, mostly in advertising sales and technical support for services such as Google's cloud-computing platform.

So if you are looking for a future job or maybe another opportunity you only have to wait until 2020 for the Detroit expansion and 2021 for the Ann Arbor expansion to be complete. More on it here.
