Why the Recall Happened
A few complaints initiated the recall; the company and FDA found that people had allergic reactions, six with the truffle flavor, and two with the white cheddar brand.
If you purchased either flavor during spring or summer from places like Walmart, Target, or Whole Foods, you may want to check your boxes to verify if you purchased the product or not.
What To Do With the Product
If you have the product, you shouldn't eat it, especially if you have any allergies. You should return it to the place you purchased it from for a refund, or just toss it.
If you or someone in your home has a dairy or nut allergy and shows signs of an allergic reaction afterwards, you should seek medical help immediately.
