‘Glee’ Stars Pay Tribute to Cory Monteith on Anniversary of Death
Cory Monteith passed away one year ago and on the first anniversary of his death, his fellow 'Glee' co-stars and series creator Ryan Murphy are paying tribute to the late actor on Twitter.
Monteith was discovered dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13, 2013. The 31-year-old actor had been battling substance abuse problems and had relapsed after a brief stint in rehab months earlier.
The actor, who played the character of Finn on the show, was dating 'Glee' co-star Lea Michele at the time. Michele has since paid tribute to Monteith through her song, 'You're Mine.' The show also paid tribute to Monteith during its 100th episode broadcast.
