Gas Prices Down Statewide…Just Not in Lansing

If you are needing to fill up your tank you may need to wait a day or two as Lansing gas prices haven't gone down but the statewide it has. It was said by AAA Michigan that gas prices statewide have fallen by about 2 cents per gallon in the past week to about $2.56 per gallon.

However, the average gas price in Lansing rose about 12 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.65. The nationwide average is at $2.54. This is the first decline in gas prices across the state in 3 weeks.

Some places in Lansing or the Lansing-Area where it is the cheapest for gas (according to Gas Buddy as of Monday 3/19 at Noon);

• Costco on Park Lake Rd - $2.27
• Market Fresh on MLK - $2.36
• Sam's Club in Eastwood Twn Center - $2.32
• Admrial on Grand River - $2.44

But again keep looking at those prices, just because the price of gas hasn't dropped yet it could tomorrow or Wednesday.
