This week could be very wet as we are expecting to get a few inches of rain and a Flood Watch is all over Mid-Michigan. The Flood watches are in effect from noon Monday, Feb. 19 through Wednesday afternoon in central, Southeast and Southwest Michigan.

An estimated 1 to 3 inches of rain and overnight thunderstorms are expected, according to the weather service, which can cause flooding cause of the ground being frozen and covered with snow.

The Counties under a flood watch span from Clare, Gratiot, and Mecosta through Kalamazoo, Kent, Muskegon, Allegan, Van Buren, Jackson, Ingham and Ionia, and east to Washtenaw, Wayne, Livingston, Monroe, Oakland and Lenawee. More below.
