The MI-C.O.P.S. Law Enforcement Officers Candlelight Memorial Service

For the past few years, the number of uniform personnel attendance has dwindled. We need uniform personnel to form a cordon for the families of the fallen to walk through. Uniform personnel will then become the backdrop on the steps of the Capitol. The ceremony is about 30 minutes long.

This year, we are honoring the life and dedicated service of Officer Fadi Shukur, Detroit Police Department, EOW 08/15/2018.

Now, more than ever, please help us show heroes families, as well as the community, what being a part of the "blue family" is all about.

The service will begin at 6:30 pm, with the ceremony beginning at 7 pm at the State Capitol in Lansing.

Also, all through the month of May, you can visit Cops & Doughnuts - Capital Precinct and donate money to the Michigan Chapter of C.O.P.S - Concerns of Police Survivors.
