East Lansing Has Road Closures Due to Construction

There are tons of construction projects either under way across Mid-Michigan or about to be kicking off causing some road closures, one big one project is causing some in East Lansing.

First in East Lansing, both lanes of Albert Avenue, from Abbot Road to Grove Street, will be closed starting May 7. This closure is expected to last 6 weeks as the city undergoes a few construction projects on or near Grand River. The project is repairing the roads and sidewalks and also getting utilities ready for the Center City Project. There will still be closures after the project is over as Albert Ave will reopen but the eastbound lanes between Albert and M.A.C Ave will be still be closed as the Center City construction project will continue throughout the summer.
