Dunkin' has been a part of your morning "run" for a while now, here in the state of Michigan. Whether you're just using the drive-thru or stopping inside. The hot coffee and donuts taste so good.

Like many places and locations across the country, Dunkin' has begun streamlining its menus at some select Michigan locations, which means a few of the old-school favorites could be out the door as well.

What’s Changing at Michigan Dunkin

The shift won't hit every single Michigan location, but ever since the company dropped "Donuts" from its name, it's leaned harder into the on-the-go drinks game. With a lot of testing and trimming, you've probably noticed the menu changed quickly.

That means faster menus, and with some stores, fewer classic donuts are included on their menu.

Here are the donuts that may be disappearing from your stores.

  • Apple Fritter: Some shops may have it still, but others may not. There's no guarantee your store will keep it if they still have it.
  • Maple Frosted: Certain locations are running test menus that temporarily pull it. Other spots still have it.
  • Vanilla Creme: This one has been reported as discontinued by many stores, but the availability will be franchise-by-franchise. So a local owner could keep it.

Dunkin' is still rolling out many limited-time donuts, though, especially for you seasonal fans. Your classics may disappear, but those holiday or specialty donuts may still be coming back around.

Just because your favorite donut may be gone at one location doesn't guarantee that it will be gone at every single store out there, or even permanently.

Best Places For Cider & Donuts In The Mid-Michigan Area

Look, you can't tell me you aren't a fan of cider and donuts. It's a Fall tradition here in Michigan. Truthfully too, if I'm going, to be honest, it is also a winter tradition. While, we could've included big corporate chains to this list, we decided to just stick local. Don't forget to support your local farmers!
