When Michigan State plays Davidson on Friday night in the first round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in Greenville, South Carolina.  A VERY prominent alum for each school have an active bet over who wins the game.

Draymond Green and Stephen Curry (pictured above) have a wager on the game.   You all know that Green is a big-time MSU alum and supporter, but some of you may not know that the future Hall of Famer in Curry is probably the greatest player in Davidson University history.  In fact, Curry led Davidson to the Elite Eight in 2008 before they lost to eventual National Champion Kansas in the Midwest regional final at Ford Field in Detroit.

If MSU wins, Draymond said via his podcast, that he will make Curry wear a full costume of Sparty to a Golden State Warriors game this season. However, if Davidson wins...well he wouldn't say what he would have to do or wear to satisfy the bet.  But Green isn't counting on Davidson winning:

“We are going to destroy Steph Curry’s Davidson Wildcats,” said Green.  Draymond also said that once they beat Davidson, he thinks they'll beat Duke (their presumed second-round opponent) on Sunday to advance to the Sweet 16.

In fact, he said this earlier this week about the possible matchup on Sunday:

"Coach K, I got nothing but love for you, man," Green said. "We won a gold medal together. Incredible, great, great run. Congratulations to the legendary, great Coach K. Such an honor I had to play for him in the 2016 Olympics.

"But, Coach K, you must enjoy retirement after round two my friend, because my Spartans, we getting it done. That's what we do, coach. But it's been a great run for you, coach, and I'm upset and sad that it has to end at the hands of my Spartans, Coach K, but it has to."

You can hear the MSU-Davidson game on 1240 WJIM and 94.9 WMMQ on Friday night beginning with the pregame at 8:30pm, tip time is around 9:40pm.
