Downtown Jackson Christmas Parade This Friday

You can kick off your holiday season with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus this Friday 11/17 at the Jackson Downtown Christmas Parade.

The parade kicks off Friday at 6 p.m. on W. Michigan Avenue at Blackstone Street and moves east to Francis Street. And of course the parade will end about an hour later with an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Event organizers expect about 20,000 people to fill downtown so if you are going to attend make sure to arrive early as there are several road closures, which you can see here. 

Plus after the parade Santa and Mrs. Claus are hosting an afterglow meet-and-greet at Consumers Energy plus Hot chocolate and cookies will be handed out.
