The "Great American Eclipse" as it was called is over, but if you have the Eclipse glasses and wondering what to do next with them, don't throw them away!

According to NASA, you shouldn't throw them away as long as the glasses were made by one of the 12 companies certified by NASA to make eclipse glasses. If you have a pair of them, which you should or you wouldn't have been able to see the Eclipse, then the glasses are good for life. Which means if you hang onto them, you are all set for any future solar eclipses.....by the way the next one is on April 8, 2024.

If you do just want to get rid of them, various environmental groups are urging people to recycle them. To recycle them make sure the lenses are popped out as they can be recycled for camera film.
