However, suppose you live here in Michigan and frequently visit Costco. In that case, you may want to pay attention to this recall, after multiple products have been recalled in multiple departments of the store. Costco is urging its customers to stop using them immediately.
Products Recalled by Costco This Month
A few of the products being affected by the recall are the Danby 8-K U-shaped window air conditioner units. They may have been sold under other names, such as Comfort Aire or Keystone, and the Midea U-Shape window AC.
Costco admitted publicly that the AC units may not drain water quickly enough and could lead to mold. Mold can cause serious health issues, such as respiratory issues, chronic fatigue, headaches, memory issues, and more.
Tire Recall
Tires sold from Costco, especially the Michelin tire brand, are under recall, after tread rubber may detach from the tire's shoulder block.
Dumbbell Recall
Bowflex is recalling the adjustable dumbbells after reports that the weight plates could come loose from the handle when in use. Consumers are urged to stop using the Bowflex 552 immediately.
Powerbank Recall
Two Anker power banks are also being recalled, over lithium-ion battery cell issues on their Model A1257 brand. Model A1263 was recalled due to the lithium-ion battery having a risk of overheating and causing fires.
If you have any of the affected products, you can return them to your local Costco store for a full refund.
