Cedar Point will begin construction Friday on its new Sports Center.  The first stage of the development project will include an outdoor sporting facility called Sports Force Parks.

Sports Force Parks is going to bring nine multi purpose, synthetic turf fields, 4 NCAA regulation baseball fields, a championship baseball and softball stadium, 8 NCAA regulation soccer and lacrosse fields, sport specific training areas and an ADA accessible community use field.

Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point is going to combine sports, family and fun. It will also bring young athletes and their families to the park for days of sports competition as well as fun at the park next door.

The park expects the new sports complex to be done in the fall of 2016 with the opening in the spring of 2017.  The Lansing State Journal has more details along with pictures of the complex as well.
