Christine’s Skin is GLOWING After Her Facial at Skin Boss Med Spa [Pics]

While Skin Boss offers several different services, I went in for a much-needed facial. Before getting started, though, we went through a personalized consultation to analyze my skin and address my skincare needs and goals.

We then went to this room where a high-tech machine (Visia Machine) analyzes your face from all angles.

After the consultation and the results from the machine, we agreed upon what type of facial would be best for me. Now, time for the real action to begin.

I was taken into this facial room, which not only was super cozy, but look at the ceiling! They have it set-up so it feels like you're looking into a night sky full of stars.

After discussing options, we agreed on doing a dermaplane facial. Dermaplane removes dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz), allowing deeper penetration of products into the skin. It also brightens and smooths. A scalpel is used for the process, but don't let the word "scalpel" scare you -- there is nothing painful about this.

Next up was the LED Light Therapy to stimulate the collagen and heal the skin. This process helps with anti-aging, reducing redness, acne and inflammation. My technician referred to it as a "happy light," because it can also help those who are feeling sad, anxious, stressed ... similar effect of a sun lamp.

I was under the light for 20 minutes, and during that I was getting an awesome arm and shoulder massage. Any longer, and I would've been snoozing because it was so relaxing.

I was blown away by the difference. But not only does it show in the pictures, more importantly, you could feel the difference.

Since getting the facial, my skin has felt a lot smoother and just healthier in general. I loved it so much that I set up another appointment to do a DiamondGlow facial, which will leave my skin glowing even more.
