There will be a lot to do in the Lansing-Area and Mid-Michigan this weekend, just make sure you don't overheat outside this weekend though.
It's fall, even though it doesn't feel like it yet, and the Cornmazes are back. Bestmaze Corn Maze is kicking off in Williamston, with the largest intricate maze in the area. Also this weekend, its the Michigan Apple Festival! Saturday, September 23rd: The Michigan Apple Festival is at The Country Mill in Charlotte. You can taste apples (Of course!), and their Corn Maze is open & Train Rides to the Orchard 1-5 pm. Apple wine tasting is noon-5pm. Apple Picking, ducks, llama, alpaca, & Pumpkin picking from 9 am- 6 pm.
Here's something fun that you can you do inside and at night, its Barrels & Blues Open Mic Nights at Claddagh beginning 9/22! It happens Fridays 8pm-11pm, and you can bring your own instrument to jam our or just listen to some music and enjoy their whiskey. More about it.
At Cooley Law School Stadium, there is a tribute to Rock Legends Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seager with Michigan's 2 Best Tribute Bands. Both are Michigan made and will perform Friday night, tickets are $12.50, more about it here.
Plus Michigan State Football is back after their bye week, and they will playing rival Notre Dame on Saturday Night at 8pm. It should be very warm, in the upper 80s and low 90s at kickoff and most of the tailgate so make sure you stay cool and drink water! More about it here.
