Check Out the Best Beaches in Michigan

Michigan is not only known as The Great Lake State, but according to the Lansing State Journal, Michigan's Great Lakes coastline is longer than the US coastline from Maine to Florida!?! Crazy, huh?

Michigan is also known for our awesome beaches. Every year since I was a little girl, my family has gone up north to Clear Lake State Park to go camping. The name doesn't lie; you can literally walk in up to your thighs and still see the sand on the bottom. It's beautiful!

The Lansing State Journal asked their readers what some of their favorite beaches to visit were. Readers chimed in with Ludington, Pentwater, Muskegon, and Grand Haven.
