Cheap Gas But WHY THE SLOW PUMPS @ Jolly & Dunckel?

I love a good deal just as much as the next guy. Especially when it comes to gas. I keep an eye on the price at the pump. And I do a pretty decent job of keeping gas in the car. I've reached that age where I don't like letting it get below half a tank. Just me? Something might happen and I need to leave right away. Or I've just gotten to the point where I can make sure I have a tank full of gas and not have to ride around on almost "E" anymore.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I get what I think is cheap gas and not even half a day later the price has gone down. Like significantly. That gets my blood hot.

But when the stars align, there's cheap gas, you can make it to the pump, you're ready to fill up your tank with a great deal, AND you're saving .03 cents per gallon because of your rewards card...WHY IS THE PUMP GOING SO SLOW?!?

This is notorious for happening at Speedway on Jolly and Dunckel. I thought it was just the one pump right beside Dunckel because I'd pull up to that one and always conveniently forget that THIS IS THE SLOW ONE. The other day me and the guy on the other side wondered aloud and became prisoners on SLOW GAS PUMP ISLAND together. He was in worse shape though as he had a SUV.

But it's for pretty much all the pumps now. And the looks people shoot you while they are stacked up waiting for you to finally finish. Staring at you like "come on dude, hurry up"! Wait until you finally get up here. You'll see. It wasn't me. And now you too are stuck here on SLOW GAS PUMP ISLAND.

I even asked one of the attendants inside and while she couldn't give me a reason WHY they were so slow, she totally acknowledged that they were indeed slow. All of them.

I did some research and with my newly discovered degree from the University of Google, the problem probably has something to do with their pump filter?!?

Possibly the nozzle?

Too many people buying your cheap gas at the same time? I get slow pumps in the middle of the night when there's nobody there.

All I know is I'm in a hurry, I want cheap gas, I don't want Linda staring at me like I'm the slow poke, and I want off SLOW GAS PUMP ISLAND.
