The Capital area District Library (CADL) in downtown Lansing has reopened today with a few new things that make it even better than before.

They have a new shiny floor and a new curved front desk. The work crew is still putting the finishing touches on it after about 2 and half months of work and over $600,000 of renovations CADL is back open.

The Lansing State Journal, has more about the funding of the project which was mostly covered by CADL's reserves with a small percentage from donations. Capital Area District Library is located at 401 S. Capitol Ave, they will have a family celebration to show off the new renovations on April 1st from 11a to 4p.
