Honestly, it may be cheaper to go for those canned goods than to buy them fresh at times. Where you'd probably be spending $3-6 on the product itself, the canned version is probably a few dollars cheaper.

From vegetables to even just soups and other foods. It tends to be a bit cheaper in a can.

With that being said, though, there is a major canned food recall currently hitting us here in the state of Michigan.

The products were sent to many states and sold at stores such as Meijer and Walmart. The products would have a best by date of February 17, 2028, printed on the side of it. The product's UPC number is:  0 71859 04015 6.

The recall was initiated due to a lack of declaring soy being found inside the product, which could be serious for those who have a soy allergy. No illnesses have been reported at this time, following the product recall.

If you have the can, you can return it to your place of purchase for a full refund. You can also contact the Vietti Food Group at (513) 682-2474 for any questions you may have. You can also email the company at recall@zwanfood.com.
