Burn Ban Now Affecting All of Lansing-Area

We haven't had any rain real rain in a while and because of the dry conditions the burn ban will now span across the Lansing region.

There was already a burn ban in Meridian Township issued on Tuesday and covers everything from recreational fire pits to fireworks. Today there are a few more areas where bans on burning have taken affect as St. Johns and Grand Ledge are also putting it into affect. So now there are burning bans in effect for much of Ingham, Clinton and Eaton counties. Because of the burn ban you can not have any open burning or fire pits or fireworks, in most cases, until the ban is lifted
