Buddy’s Pizza Opening a New Restaurant In Okemos Next Year

Not very long ago, I wrote an article about Buddy's Pizza opening a new restaurant in the Okemos area right on Grand River Avenue.

Over the Labor Day weekend, my wife and I went to breakfast at Coral Gables in East Lansing and on our way home we noticed that the old Burger King location on West Grand River in Okemos was literally gone.

And when I say gone, I mean demolished, no longer there, no more Burger King! I went to that particular Burger King location many times in the past and now it's history.

So as my wife and I drove past the vacant area, she said "I think that's where the new Buddy's Pizza restaurant is going to be."

At that point it dawned on me, that's right, Buddy's Pizza will open sometime next year right there where the old Burger King used to be.

Since we all know that Buddy's Pizza is well known for their Detroit style pizza, I just thought I would write another article about this fine establishment opening up in my neck of the woods.

According to the Lansing State Journal:

The new Okemos location will offer a full bar and patio seating, accommodating 275 people. It's expected to open in early 2022.

There are a lot of really good pizza joints around including Old Chicago, Deluca's, Arts Bar, Pizza House, Klavon's Pizzeria, and so many others.

And since this is a great town for all pizza lovers, we get to add yet another great pizza restaurant to the Okemos area in early 2022, Buddy's Pizza at 2010 W. Grand River.
