Birdy Releases New Video of Bon Iver’s ‘Skinny Love’

British singer Birdy, who is all of 17, delivered a totally unforgettable cover of Bon Iver's 'Skinny Love,' which lives on her 'Breathe' EP, in 2011. It's achingly and crushingly beautiful, and now we can't stop watching this new version of the video for the U.S.

The black-and-white video was filmed at The Hope & Anchor Pub in the U.K. and it focuses on solely on Birdy as she sings and plays her piano. Her face is framed by a long curtain of waves as she belts out the song.

It's stark and spare, and we don't need or want distracting visuals, since her voice is so haunting and powerful. It tickles the spine.

With this new version of the video, Birdy pretty much assured the fact that we cannot forget her.

Birdy will release her second album 'Fire Within' this year.
