Best Places to Fish Within an Hour of Lansing

There are dozens of lakes and rivers all over the state where you can fish for some salmon, trout, bass or more. However, if you don't want to go on a long drive for some fish check out these great places in our area for some fun and maybe some fish.

I usually go fishing about once or twice a year but go to Lake Michigan for it, so I'm not too knowledgeable about local fishing spots. Because of that I wanted to find the best spots within an hour, so maybe I can get some fishing done this fall before its frozen and ice fishing is the only option.
