Be On The Lookout Kroger To Hire 10,000 Workers
If you are on the lookout for another job, a new one, or your first job Kroger says it plans to hire 10,000 workers.
The announcement Monday came a week after Walmart, the No. 1 grocer in the world, said it was also adding 10,000 jobs in the United States. The 10,000 jobs will range from part time clerks / cashiers to dept heads and assistant store managers.
The grocery chain added 12,000 employees last year, including 9,000 veterans. It has added more than 86,000 jobs over the past eight years and has over 400,000 workers nationwide. With the job market continuing to strengthen this might be the time to hop on one of these when they become open.
