Heads Up: A Bank in Lansing Is Closing, More to Follow

If you were planning on heading to you local bank, you might want to be sure they're actually still open at this time. One major banking chain here in Michigan, just announced the closure of multiple locations, including one right here in the Lansing community.

Flagstar Bank just announced a national plan to close around 60 of their branches across the nation here in 2025 in hopes of cutting down on costs. There is one branch here in Lansing that will be closing its doors.

Heads Up: Two Banks in Lansing To Close, More to Follow

There is one Flagstar Bank locations that will be closing their doors, after filing with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

In the announcement, the banking chain announced that they would be closing one location. The location is in East Lansing at 1400 East Lake Lansing Road. There are still two other branches in Lansing you can still go to for all of your banking needs.

At this time, Flagstar has no plans to close these two remaining stores here in Lansing, however, there are banks across the state of Michigan that will be closing down their locations.
