DJ Goofy Whitekid started his radio journey in Central Pennsylvania in 2000, appearing radio stations and in nightclubs in Harrisburg, PA,where the convergence of New York hip-hop, Philadelphia dance music, Baltimore club, D.C. go-go and Pittsburgh classic rock informed his wide musical palette. As a student at Penn State University, he became the resident DJ for the longest running live-to-air nightclub mixshow in the US. After stops in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, DJ Goofy Whitekid now rocks radio stations and parties from Houston to Hong Kong. DJ Goofy Whitekid produces The Show, a weekly syndicated pop-centric mixshow heard on over 40 radio stations around the world. The Show blends mainstream hits with exclusive tracks and remixes from some of the biggest names in music, and a few surprises to make a truly unique listening experience every time. DJGWK has shared stages with the likes of Calvin Harris, Weezer, Justin Bieber, LL Cool J, Maroon 5, T.I., Will.i.am, 311, and the world champion Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s played at Super Bowls, All-Star Games, and concerts and clubs around the world. As the official DJ of 96.1 KISS in Pittsburgh from 2004 to 2008, he and Wiz Khalifa’s tour DJ Bonics made up what go Magazine called “Pittsburgh’s top deejay tandem,” and has been nominated for “Best Syndicated Mixshow DJ” at Summer Sessions. DJ Goofy Whitekid (real name Drew Hall) is currently based in Tampa Bay, FL, where he also produces imaging and mixes for the world famous 93.3 FLZ, and provides voiceover and sound design services for touring artists, television, radio and more.
