Ariana Grande’s Grandpa Dies

Ariana Grande's beloved grandfather passed away yesterday, she announced on Twitter today, July 23.

Fans immediately rallied around the 'Problem' singer, posting heartfelt messages to Grande via Twitter and trending the hashtags #StayStrongAriana and #RIPGrandpaGrande.

Grande herself posted a series of tweets honoring her grandpa, writing:

Earlier this month, Grande let fans in on her grandfather's ailing health and shared several photos of him on Instagram, including the snapshot above which depicts Grandpa Grande's sweet sense of humor.

"Finally a happy grandps.... he's laughing at his own joke.... told me my hair's too big," she captioned the picture.

The 'Way' singer also shared another photo of the pair after his death, simply captioning the throwback shot: "I love you." You can see that photo below.
