If you know me, you know I'm not the biggest fan of online dating. There's so many things that factor into it. Is this person really who they say they are? I mean, we've all seen bits and pieces of MTV's, "Catfish: The TV Show", it happens. I also don't dig being on my phone all the time and trying to juggle other people's lives.

Well, I may have changed my mind now. This new dating app sounds pretty interesting. There's this new app called "Snack", where you upload videos of yourself instead of pictures like most dating apps. So, it's sort of like TikTok with a bonus feature.

Users are able to like and comment on each other's videos but the "match" is made when two users "like" the other's video. Once both people have shown a mutual interest, they'll be able to direct-message each other on the app. According to the description, it's a better way to show-case your personality and share your likes and dislikes.

At first, I was a little skeptical of the app but I actually think it's a fun idea. I think it would be a lot easier for you to determine someone's personality and whether or not you would click from a video instead of a picture. I also think it would be a little more difficult for someone to be "catfished." I'm not saying that still isn't a possibility, but I think the chances would be lower.
