5 Seconds of Summer Go Acoustic on Blink-182 ‘I Miss You’ Cover [VIDEO]
We're used to 5 Seconds of Summer full on rockin' out, but we love it when they get stripped down. (Musically, of course.)
5SOS went the acoustic route for their cover of Blink-182's 'I Miss You' while at BBC Radio 1 -- and it was the perfect choice for the Aussie band, who simply let their voices and instruments do the talking.
Calum -- donning some fresh platinum blonde highlights -- sang the first verse of the 2003 hit, giving the song a relaxed, chilled-out vibe. Luke was up next, infusing the cover with his effervescent pop-punk vocals, which were pretty much made for this cover. (Seriously, he nailed it.) Add in some swoon-worthy harmonies from Michael (who is rockin' fire engine red hair) and that thumping cajon beat from Ashton, and you have one impressive, intimate performance from 5 Seconds of Summer.
Just don't mind us as we hit that replay button again and again -- and one last time, for good measure.
